[WP] Two men play a game of chess. One can read minds; the other can see the future.
两个人下棋，一个能读心，一个能预测未来。

[WP] While walking, you notice everyone recoiling from a young woman. you speak to her to find out why. through her surprise, she explains she is death and everyone else sees a person based on how they feel about the concept of death. You've never seen a more beautiful or inviting person.
你正走在路上，意识到每个人都从一个女人身边绕道而行。你和她聊天想知道为什么如此。她很惊讶，解释说她是死神，每个人见到的形象都是基于他们对死亡概念的认知。你从没见过这么美丽可亲的人。

[WP] When you die, you are given the chance to flip a coin. If you call the toss correctly, you are allowed to keep living, while resetting to the age of your choice. You've been doing this for a couple centuries now. Death is starting to get pretty pissed.
当你要死的时候，你有个机会抛硬币，如果你猜对了面，就能继续活下去，并且据你的选择重置你的年龄。

[WP] As it turns out, "God" is an elected position. The Creator was followed by the Old Testament God, who was followed by the New Testament God, who was followed by a God who didn't interfere often in the mortal world. The next election is in 6 months.
事实上，“神明”是一个选举出的职位。创造者之后是旧约诸神，之后是新约诸神，之后是不介入凡人世界里的神。下一场选举在六个月之后。

[WP] A vampire is taking a college history course and can't help but argue with the professor about what actually happened.
一位吸血鬼修了大学的历史课程，实在忍受不了和教授争吵了起来，关于历史的真相。
